Dear Aligs
Assalam o Alaikum
The Aligarh Muslim University Old Boys Association (AMUOBA) recognizes that graduates are a genuine asset to Aligarh Muslim University, forever playing a significant role for both their alma mater and fellow students across generations. Alumni are not only family but an amalgamation of leaders and influencers who serve as the university's most loyal supporters, effective voice, and international ambassadors.
The alumni community in Kuwait has grown remarkably over the years, and 2016 proved to be a landmark year when this vibrant community became an official elected body through a consensus of the general body of AMU Kuwait alumni via electoral ballot. AMUOBA, which thus came into existence, is an association whose members share a common vision, mission, belief, values, and traditions.
As a non-profit, non-political socio-cultural organization based on secular and pluralistic character, our prime objective is to serve the educational, social, literary, and cultural needs of the community. AMUOBA's presence is necessary to strengthen relationships between all members of our alma mater, promote education, and create meaningful opportunities for growth and collaboration.
Our aims and objectives center on working with the inclusion of varied viewpoints for better governance and smoother delivery of results. Through our organized efforts, we channel our members' expertise, resources, and influence back to Aligarh Muslim University, ensuring that the bond between the university and its global alumni community remains strong, purposeful, and impactful.
